Hello,

My name is Brian Hayman and I have decided to create this blog to document my outdoor adventures. While I am new to this I do pick things up quickly; some of you may be wondering what aCSguy is, well its a play on my profession as I am a Computer Scientist. I have many passions ranging from Ham Radio to Thru Hiking…..and want to share the experience while keeping the ones who care informed.

I also am a husband whom has been married to my beautiful wife April for 20 years whom has blessed me with three boys.

So I plan to update this with some past experiences to get started then as I move forward I expect to move into blogging my thru hiking experiences along with any family adventures in the interim.
