Hello,
This post is centered round me and my family who once a year escape the heat of the desert and ascend to the beautiful Pacific Ocean. So we load up the truck with bicycles and BBQs and some cute puppies, and hitch up the trailer and off we go. However this trip will be blessed by our beloved niece Angelia. She is my wife’s sisters child and we so love her company.
My advice is for anyone thinking of owning an RV is simple use it! We made a commitment to get out and explore upon purchasing this along with a huge gasoline guzzling truck. Which brings my attention to the Tundra, this truck tows quite well straight off the factory line it cares not about a hill or elevation gain it simply pumps up the RPMs and away you go.
To my surprise we discovered that Angelia has never been to the Ocean, we were shocked and well excited that we would be the special ones to share in this experience. So after several hours of driving at the slow and painful speed of 55-60 mph we arrived upon our destination.
This brings up the topic of parking an RV, we of course had to back this thing into the campsite as there were no pull through spots, while I have done this several times it never gets old having to try and try again until the optimal spot is achieved. This of course is flowed by what is only to be described as a family explosion. Which usually consists of yelling “No to the right, no your other right”, and “Will the power cord stretch that long if not we will have to try again”. Yep the struggle is real, one I have permanently solved by buying another fifty feet of cord.
The boys are always ready to jump right in and start playing with the sharks, but normally we get there after the warm part of the day so we tend to take walks and ride bikes the first day. Followed by long strolls with the pups along the beach re-hydrating our desert skin to what most people would consider normal, followed on by a wonderful BBQ and of course a quick Facebook update to inform all we are in fact having fun.
The next day is normally followed on by a wonderful breakfast and beach preparation as this is the activity we do quite well. After the normal who’s carrying what as no one wants to be the one to have to make a return trip to the camp site from the beach, yep it a awful 1000 foot walk; but in all honesty it does take about ten minutes for the unlucky boy to complete the task before getting in the water. In the picture below you can see the boys just starting to get wet along with my everything April.

So I would like to introduce Angelia, she is a sweet soul, she puts up with my stupid jokes and will even talk to you unlike some people I know.

Angelia has also stayed with us in the past while her parents needed a break for reasons beyond my understanding, but that is what family does they help and spend time with one another which is more then I can say for my side of the family. When she stayed with us she had missed the famous beach trip, so we told her the next year we would make sure she was able to attend. Promise delivered Anglia!

My eldest son and me, getting the long sought after selfie! That is right under normal conditions the boys want little to do with dear old dad but today I am a super hero. I will take it thank you very much.
My lovie April does not like the fact I am posting this but she is the most adorable when she is at the beach with not a worry in the world.

Below is my youngest son he also graced me with his presence, two out of three is not bad on this trip. I just love how they will take a quick second or two to perform the selfie before they must quickly get back to their activity of being a child. I am hoping later in life when he learns of this blog how special these times were for all of us.

So the following is of the kids well being kids, no electronics, no electrical connection just good old fun in the sand.
I am starting to realize we never took pictures of the pups, I think my lovie did but I seem not to have them to share. Well we are looking forward to our next visit and hope the wonderful Angelia will once again come visit and share more exciting visits.
